Catch A Tail (Card Game)

Story Behind

This is not just a game; it’s an invitation to lose yourself in the labyrinth of “The Puzzle Murders”. A cryptic death, an unraveling scandal, and a detective whose sharp mind conceals a tender heart. “The Puzzle Murders” is a gripping mystery set against the backdrop of opulence and despair. As shadows lift, hearts are bared, revealing the fine line between destruction and liberation.

To uncover the truth and solve the question of who killed Archer, connect the characters with the clues and follow the detective’s guidance.

Catch the tail of mysteries!

This thrilling tale is part of CyberPet Magazine's second issue, drawing readers into a world where every twist and turn keeps you guessing.

How to Play

You can’t steal the Detective Lorot card!

Players must obtain the Detective Lorot card and match the highest number of Character and Clue cards.

Rules:

Number of players: 2/3

The deck is shuffled.

The drawing priority is determined by rolling a die. The player with the highest roll draws the first card.

Players take turns drawing one card at a time.

Players who draw a “Character Card” (12 red cards) may steal one card from players who have drawn a “Clue Card” (12 beige cards).

Players who draw the “Detective Lorot” card (black card) may steal two cards. (If there are 3 players, they can steal one card from each player or two cards from a single player.)

At the end of the game, the player with the most matches wins. (Visit CyberPet Magazine Issue 02, page 234 to learn about correct matches.)

The Detective Lorot card counts as an extra match.

The winner of a round gets the drawing priority in the next round. In the event of a tie, the die roll at the start of the game determines the drawing priority for the next round.

After 5 rounds, the final score is determined.

Enjoy!
