Delusion emerges as a creative process in the fashion world that transcends the boundaries of reality, exploring the limitless realms of imagination. This understanding offers a striking new perspective that goes beyond traditional designs.
This year at Paris Fashion Week, we witnessed the most creative delusions brought to life by three pioneering brands that transformed the runway into a dreamscape: Noir Kei Ninomiya, Anrealage, and Comme des Garçons. The designers of these brands elevated fashion to the clouds, blending technology with textiles to create a surreal experience on the runway.
Noir Kei Ninomiya pushed the boundaries with experimental structures that defy gravity, bringing bold forms to life. Anrealage opened a significant door to the future with its "air-con clothing" concept, merging functionality with technology. Meanwhile, Comme des Garçons continued to assert its vision by presenting a delusional aesthetic that challenges traditional notions of form and beauty.
As we take steps toward the future of fashion, we are witnessing digital dreams woven into fabric. Delusion is becoming the new language of Haute Couture. Who knows, perhaps it is the ultimate "solulu" of the "delulu" runways.
